Turning Lamebos Into Rainbows

Rambling Goat and Nonsense Unicorn present… The Awesome Person's Guide to Life

Don’t cry over your half-assery

You can’t put a sausage in the oven and expect a roast to come out.

Yep, that’s the best analogy I could conjure up that encapsulates the relationship between effort and reward.

If you do something half assed (for example, a uni report that you left to the day before it was due), you can only really expect half assed results (a pass instead of a HD).

You get what you put in to this life, so be chill and accept the fruits of your labours for what they are.

Only got a pass in your report? Well, you did choose to play hours of playstation instead of study, so be happy with that!

Short cuts may seem like a legit idea at the time – and sometimes they are, but we gotta be reasonable in what you will get back.
